The "Like" Button II

The "like" button on facebook, in terms of tense, makes no sense.  I have an activity recording on my facebook  profile page that says I "liked" Lil' Bub, as if I once liked it, and ceased to like it.  Don't use passive voice when I still like something.  Apparently, liking something has become a time-specific action.
