I support Italy in soccer, because I have 50 percent Italian ancestry.  I don't hang an Italian flag out of my window.  I don't have that much pride in my Italian ancestry.  A lot of people have too much pride in their Italian ancestry, and the fact that they know some Italian words.  Have a little pride in your birthplace.  I would root for USA in an Italian-USA soccer match.
